Rita Edochie is a popular Nigerian actress who has made a name for herself in the Nollywood film industry. Born on April 16, 1964, in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria, Edochie began her acting career in the late 1990s and has since become one of the most respected and recognized actresses in Nigeria.

Just after she graduated from UNIZIK, Rita had her first job at Anambara Broadcasting Service (ABS) and that was where she met her husband who was a staff member.
