FIREBOY DML : A MUSICAL FLAME IN THE WORLD OF ENTERTAINMENT

Fireboy DML, whose real name is Adedamola Onyinlola Adefolahan, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He gained prominence in the Nigerian music industry with his unique blend of afrobeat, R&B, and soulful melodies.

Fireboy DML’s passion for music began at a young age, and he honed his skills by participating in local talent shows and singing competitions. In 2018, he caught the attention of YBNL Nation, the record label owned by Nigerian rapper Olamide, and subsequently signed a record deal.

His breakthrough came with the release of his debut single, “Jealous”, in 2018. The song quickly became a hit, with its infectious melody and relatable lyrics resonating with audiences. It propelled Fireboy DML to the forefront of the Nigerian music scene and established him as a rising star.
Following the success of “Jealous”, Fireboy DML released his debut studio album, “Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps”, in 2019. In 2020, Fireboy DML released his sophomore album, “Apollo”. The album expanded his musical range and explored themes of love, growth, and self-reflection. It featured hit singles such as “Eli”, “Tattoo”, “Champion” and received widespread acclaim from fans and music critics. He released several other albums like; “Playboy” and has released several others.

The singer has released lots of melodious tracks which includes; “Peru”, “Running” ft Ladipoe, “Beauty and the Madness” ft Rexx Life Raj and Wale, even his latest tracks he released recently, “Outside” and “Obaa Sima”, and many others.

The artist was born on February 5, 1996, in Ogun State, Nigeria. He developed interest in music while studying at Obafemi Awolowo University.
