WEST REGION: MAN RAPES AND PRACTICES WITCHCRAFT ON A YOUNG VENDOR

A terrible crime has shaken the town of Foumbot, West region, Cameroon. A respected representative of the community of the Far North of Cameroon, a powerful man in trade and witchcraft, is now behind bars after committing an unthinkable act.

According to sources, the macabre scene took place in his shop, where he lured a young fruit seller. Once inside, the victim, still in shock, described losing consciousness, only to wake up later a victim of the shopkeeper she had naively considered to be her customer. The predator took the horror a step further by placing traditional charms in the girl’s stomach, spreading terror throughout the community. After this abominable act, he handed over a sum of 10,000 francs CFA francs to his victim, telling her to keep quiet about the atrocious attack.

Meanwhile, the brave little girl confided in her aunt, who was shocked by the revelation and immediately alerted the neighbourhood. An outraged crowd went to the criminal’s home, forcing him to confess to his crimes and remove the native charms, he had inserted in the young victim’s body.

The police intervened, capturing the rapist and sorcerer, who will now have to answer to the law. This sordid episode highlights the need to combat such crimes and protect the most vulnerable members of society.
