VINCENT ABOUBAKAR LEAVING HIS CLUB TO BE IN THE TRANSFER MARKET ?

Popular captain of the Indomitable Lions Vincent Aboubakar’s future, remains uncertain. The running question is “Will he stay at Besiktas or will he look to jump ship in the next transfer market?” After returning to Besiktas a year ago, the Cameroonian has fallen out of favor with the Istanbul Black Eagles. To give a flashback on what happened, the Indomitable Lion was excluded in 2023, the reasons advanced by the club were “poor performances and incompatibilities  with the team”.

One thing is certain, behind the scenes, things are hotting up. Under contract with the Turkish giants until 2025, the Cameroon striker will have to take advantage of an exit voucher in June 2024.

The captain of the Indomitable Lions is expected to look elsewhere from June 2024 onwards. But the Cameroonian has one condition. According to Africafoot, Vincent Aboubakar is open to a move. However, the contract to be offered to him must guarantee him a minimum annual salary of €3.5 million, in other words the same as what he earns at Besiktas. His pursuers are therefore set.

There should be no shortage of interest, especially as Aboubakar is still very popular in the transfer market. The Cameroonian striker knows his worth and won’t stoop so low to engage in any type of  team.
