The suspension, set out in a document signed on 1st April by the MISANTE, is expected to last three months, with the possibility of an extension.

The decision to suspend these companies follows an inspection and monitoring mission carried out between 20th October and 24th November 2023 by teams from the Health Promotion Department.

The inspection revealed numerous cases of non-compliance with current laws and regulations governing hygiene and sanitation practices. However, the ministerial decision did not provide details of the laws that these companies violated before being suspended.

The suspended companies include HSA CARE SARL, YOU ARE GAK, HYTRA SARL, SOPHYCAM and POWER LEAN.

However, the work of these companies is different from that of the hygiene and sanitation company HYSACAM, which is responsible for collecting and disposing of urban waste.

The suspended companies play a crucial role in maintaining hygiene standards within industrial facilities, often manufacturing various chemicals used for this purpose.

However, their failure to comply with legal requirements has prompted the government to temporarily suspend their activities.

The suspension affects a range of activities undertaken by these companies, including disinfestation, rodent control, disinfection and other hygiene and sanitation work across the country.

These entities could remain suspended until they rectify their non-compliance issues and operate in accordance with current laws and regulations.
