ZAMBO ANGUISSA AND CLUB FACE ELIMINATION IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

The Italian football club of renown Cameroonian football player , Zambo Anguissa, Napoli is out of the Champions League. The club was beaten 4-2 by Barcelona in a double-header.

After a draw in Italy in the first leg, Napoli failed to spring a surprise in the return. Outclassed by in-form Barcelona, Napoli were mercilessly beaten 3-1 in the second leg at the Stadio Olimpico Lluís Companys.

The Neapolitans were quickly dealt a blow, conceding two goals in the space of two minutes. Despite reducing the deficit before half-time, Napoli conceded defeat.

It was Robert Lewandowski who dashed the Italian club’s hopes in the final quarter of an hour. As a result, Barcelona beat Napoli 3-1 in a lively match to qualify for the quarter-finals for the first time since 2020. It was a disappointment for the Cameroonian footballer Zambo Anguissa and his team-mates, who are already heading for an off-season.
