Nonso Anozie is a British actor known for his versatile performances in both film and television. He developed a passion for acting at a young age and began honing his skills in various theatre productions.

Anozie attended the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, where he further refined his craft. With his imposing physical presence and commanding stage presence, he quickly gained attention and recognition in the theatre world.

He actually began his career professionally by playing small roles in movies like “RocknRolla”, “Atonement”. In 2008, Anozie made his breakthrough in film with a role in the critically acclaimed movie “Cass”. His performance garnered positive reviews and opened doors for him in the industry. He continued to showcase his talent in films such as “Nanny McPhee and the big Bang”, “Brighton Rock”, “I Am Slave” and many others.

Anozie’s success extended to television as well. He portrayed the character of Renfield in the popular TV series “Dracula” in 2013, earning praise for his portrayal of the iconic character. He also appeared in the hit fantasy series “Game of Thrones” as Xaro Xhoan Daxos during its second season in 2012. He has featured in several other TV series like; “Outcasts”, “The Bible”, “Zoo”, “Doctor Who”, “Sweet Tooth”, “The Sandman”, “Hey Duggee”, “The Mandalorian” amongst others.

In recent years, Anozie’s career has taken him to Hollywood, where he has continued to impress audiences and critics alike. He has acted in several movies like; “The Last Legion”, “The Grey”, “Ender’s Game”, “Get Santa”, “Cinderella”, “Pan”, “All Is True”, “Guava Island”, “Artemis Fowl”, “Dragon Rider” and many other renowned movies.

He has also featured as a character in video games which includes; “The Golden Compass”, “Brink”, “Remember Me”, “Dirty Bomb” and several others.

Nonso has earned several accolades due to his marvellous work like; Best Classical Stage Performances in Britain by actors under age 30 at the Ian Charleson Awards in 2004, Outstanding Supporting Performance at the Children’s and Family Emmy Awards, and has earned many others.

Anozie was born on November 17, 1978, in London, England. His parents hail from Nigeria, and he grew up in a diverse cultural environment, which greatly influenced his career and acting choices. He attended St Aloysius College, Highgate. He graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 2002.
