BLACK PANTHER 2 PRODUCTION SUSPENDED AFTER LETICIA WRIGHT’S INJURY
Production of « Black Panther: Wakanda for Ever », the sequel to the hit Marvel Studios film, has been suspended in order to allow star Letitia Wright to recover from an injury that occurred during filming last summer, according to specialized media.
The star actress of « Black Panther », a film from the famous American franchise released in 2018 and which became cult for having for the first time staged a black superhero in a fictional African country, was injured during a stunt scene in Boston in August.
This injury, presented as minor, should not interfere with the production schedule, reported at the time Variety and Hollywood Insider, main publications of the American film industry. The release date for the film, directed by Ryan Coogler, remains set for November 11, 2022.
