WEST REGION : GENDARMES MURDER TWO CAMEROONIAN CIVILIANS

Not up to 24 hours of serious mourning in Bamenyam, West region of Cameroon for the death of 10 Cameroonians, another tragedy hit the streets again as well but now in Babadjou. This time, two civilians shot dead by Gendarmes.

According to sources who say they witnessed the incident, the two civilians, who were on a motorbike when they were stopped by the gendarmes, they got into an altercation with them.

During the altercation, one of the gendarmes was injured by the two civilians. In response to the wound inflicted on the man in uniform, the other gendarmes intervened, beating and shooting the two men. Both died, according to sources.

Further information is not revealed on the identity of the Gendarmes involved.
