Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji, famously known as “Libianca”, is a Cameroonian-American Afrobeat singer. She is known for her breakout single “People” (2022) which was a critical and commercial success, and this song earned her several international level nominations.

Libianca has recently been named the Best Central African Artist of the year at the 16th edition of the Headies Awards. This ceremony took place at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta on September 3rd 2023. Rema, and Burna Boy were top in awards as they won three each. Libianca expressed her gratitude for the award, saying in her speech of appreciation that it was a validation of her hard work.

On platform X which was formerly regarded as Twitter, she posted “This year has really been good to me”. She has the right to be really grateful because in her category, she was nominated with renowned African Artists like Fally Ipupa from the DR Congo, Gaz Mawete (DR Congo), Matias Damiaso (Angola), and Emma’A (Gabon).

The song “People”, has won platinum recognition and has gotten Libianca a BET Award as Best International New Act this year 2023. It has also topped the charts of several countries for weeks in a row.
