FINEXS VOYAGES AGENCY ON HEAT WITH PRESIDENT OF FECAFOOT
The world of football in Cameroon is in an uproar following the latest information relayed on social networks.
In a recent viral statement on social media from a manager of the transport company Finexs Express recently accused the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) of not having paid a bus rental invoice for 2 years.
According to information provided by Finexs Voyages, this debt arises from several transport services provided on behalf of FECAFOOT between September and December last year 2023. Despite several reminders and attempts at communication, the agency claims not to have received any payment from the sports organization headed by Samuel Eto’o.
However, Andrea Tours Travels agency which is a business partner, is taking exception to this false information and is defending itself.
According to Andrea Tours Travel, the disputed unpaid invoice only dates back to March-April 2023 and FECAFOOT has never had any direct contact with Finexs Express Voyage. It was the partner company that facilitated the hire of the buses as part of its partnership with FECAFOOT.
Furthermore, of the total amount of 11 million Fcfa owed, 7.5 million has already been paid to the carrier Finexs. The balance will be paid progressively, as with all suppliers.
Andrea Tours Travel deplores the damaging consequences of this misleading video, which damages not only the image of FECAFOOT and its president, but also the reputation of the company.
While reassuring its partners of its professionalism, Andrea Tours Travel has promised to honour its commitments to Finexs Express Voyage. The incident is a reminder of the risks of infomercials on Cameroonian networks, especially when they target public figures.
The partner company would like to remind everyone of the importance of checking information before disseminating it on social networks.
