ALPHA BLONDY SAYS “AYOKA (CAN 2024)”

Renowned Ivorian artist, Alpha Blondy has brought together the best Ivorian artists of the moment to create magic and thrill the fans who will be coming to the African Cup of Nations in January 2024 in Ivory Coast. In a collaboration with DidiB, Rosaline Layo and Soum Bill, they released a wonderful song for the AFCON 2023 titled “AYOKA (CAN 2024)”.

The song preaches about Peace in Africa, welcoming the tournament guests into the land of host for AFCON 2023, Ivory Coast. The artists also go ahead to preach on the young generation of Africa and they go ahead to encourage them to put in their best to one day be recognized.

With Didi B, Roseline Layo and Soum Bill, the “AYOKA” sound is a clever mix of 4 musical worlds: Reggae, Rap, African Music and Zouglou. AYOKA means “HELLO” in the “Bété language”, an Ivorian tribe.

The music video had the exceptional participation of: Football legend DIDIER DROGBA, Ivorian international footballer twice winner of the Ballon d’Or, LE PRINCE BLEU (Abraham Koné), and IRON BIBY, the world strongest man.

This song will actually make Africa as a whole to sing and be at peace with people around them.
