SARKODIE ON AN “OTAN” BATTLE JOURNEY

Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Sarkodie recently released a new single titled “Otan”.

The track was produced by MOG. “Otan” follows the rapper’s consistent list of songs this year and the release of “Till We Die” with Nigerian artist Ruger in October 2023.

According to the lyrics of the track, the musician sings about fighting a battle with the demons inside of him and thinking about staying in his lane so no one could bother him. Furthermore, Sarkodie surprisingly mentions thoughts of suicidal ideation and the devil emerging whenever blessings are near or in his midst.

The song reflects resilience, self-discovery, and the triumph of a real man with God as his hero.

In less than 24 hours, the song has already reached 100k views, 15k likes, and 3.3k comments.
