C.A.F RELEASES LIST OF FINAL PLAYERS FOR 2023 AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has recently  unveiled the official lists of players for the national teams competing in the C.A.F Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations Côte D’Ivoire 2023.

Each national team involved in the Africa Cup of Nations has submitted a final list of 27 players, as permitted under the current regulations.

“In accordance with the new Regulations, each Participating Member Association (“PMA”), is authorized to submit a final squad of up to 27 players, with only 23 players eligible for selection for each match of the Tournament” announced by the  CAF in a note.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) also specifies that a player in the final squad may only be replaced in the event of serious injury, no later than 24 hours before the team’s first match.

The opening match of the CAF Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023 will be played in Abidjan on 13th January 2024.
