BAFOUSSAM: TRUCK CRUSHES A BIKE PASSENGER

Sources report that he died on Monday 30th October 2023, at “L’hôpital de la CNPS de Yaoundé”, Cameroon as a result of an illness. Sadly, the specific illness was not determined.

This unfortunate tragedy occurred on Monday 30^th October 2023 in the Eastern region of Cameroon.

The victim’s name is revealed as Evrard Mboum Fanmoé, a 26-year-old young man. According to sources, his head was crushed by the wheels of a semi-trailer truck. The accident brutally seized life out of that passenger from the bike he was on.

A police source explained that, the tragedy occurred following a poor overtaking of the driver of the two wheeled machine, who wanted to sneak between the truck and a taxi.

In his juggling, the passenger was caught by the irons of the semi-trailer. The body was taken to the morgue at Bafoussam regional hospital. The driver of the motor bike, in a state of shock, was admitted to the town’s district hospital. The truck is at the Bafoussam judicial police pound and the driver has been reported missing.

Investigations are going on to be able to track the driver of the truck.
