MR EAZI’S “EXIT” WITH SOWETO CHOIR

“emPawa” Africa CEO, Mr Eazi is a well-known Nigerian music artist, songwriter, and Banku Records kingpin who just stormed the music section with a brilliant record titled “Exit” in collaboration with three-time-Grammy-winning South African music legends, Soweto Gospel Choir, and it comes with an infectious production from the Grammy-winning Nigerian beat maker, Kel-P.

On top of that, the above-mentioned composition serves as a follow-up to “Fefe Na Fefe,” a melodious song he lastly dropped.

This track, is the final track on his album “The Evil Genius”. In many ways, the song is seen to be the centrepiece of Mr. Eazi’s long-awaited project. Conceived during a period of inner turmoil and strife as the artist reveals, it is one of the Nigerian musician’s most personal and inward-looking songs to date and also his most triumphant.

Among the song’s memorable lines is one which Mr Eazi has adopted as his daily mantra “Thank you God for keeping things running smoothly”. In an interview, he explained; “when I wrote this song, I was disappointed in everything- the music business, feeling betrayed by my friends, but in the midst of feeling disappointed, I was thankful”.

The song is already at almost 40k views and almost at 3.5 likes on YouTube.

It was set atop South Africa’s famed Drakensberg, amidst the oldest mountain range in the world, the “Exit” video delivers heavenly visuals that suit the song’s spiritual theme. The song is accompanied by an appropriately epic video, shot by director Allison Swank Owen.
