RAPE CULPRIT ARRESTED FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A 6-YEAR-OLD GIRL

Recently, a 20-year-old boy has been caught and delivered to gendarmes for reportedly raping a little girl of 6 years old in the Douala neighbourhood last week Wednesday, 18^th October 2023.

After he allegedly did the act, he got several beatings from the angry mob that pounced on him by weekend and he was lucky to have survived the beatings. Meanwhile, the young girl was hospitalized after the act in a neighbouring clinic.

The chief medical officer at the clinic, Dr. Glory Befeke, told Equinoxe Tv that the girl was stable; “We had to do the normal protocol for rape cases. We ran some tests and found some sperm cells deposited around the vagina which we took care by cleaning her up”.

According to the medical report from the medical practitioner Dr. Befeke, there was an attempt for the hymen to be destroyed but it was “still intact”.

The victim’s father explained to Equinoxe TV that that was not the only time the guy has been caught in the act, that it was his third time. “We left and started searching for the guy because the guy ran away. It was only until 11.p.m. that we caught the guy,” the father said.

He added that they brought the young man to a nearby gendarmerie station but they were asked to first treat the injuries he had suffered due to the mob beatings.

The father also said in the interview with Equinoxe TV; “We gave him some beatings and later took the guy to the brigade. But at the brigade, they told us that the boy is having a wound, that we should go and treat the suspect before we can bring him the next morning”.

When asked why he committed the act, the suspect told Equinoxe TV that he was responding to his body’s needs.

Things are not clear if the young boy was mentally stable or not, but he had difficulties in speaking.

Reports say the guy has been raping girls and this was his third victim and funniest thing is his second victim was from the six-year-old girl’s family.

With the culprit arrest, he will be judged accordingly be it mentally stable or not.
