VETERAN NOLLYWOOD ACTOR YEMI ADEYEMI JOINS HIS ANCESTORS

Veteran actor Oluyemi Lawrence Adeyemi populary known as “Suara” was born in the 40s. His nickname got stuck on   him since his role in Super Story series, Oh Father! Oh Daughter! where he is a polygamist married to Buky Wright, and Sola Shobowale as his second wife. Yemi Adeyemi is a well recognize man in the Nollywood industry before the news of his death circulated all over the internet. Adeyemi rose to fame with his role in the 2001 Wale Adenuga hit series, “Super Story”.

The death of the veteran actor was made known to the general public by the family in an official statement released on Monday 25^th September 2023.

It was said by the family that Suara died on Sunday September 24th 2023, they however do not disclose the source of his death.

The official statement by his son Adedotun Adeyemi reads;

“IT IS WITH A HEAVY HEART BUT WITH TOTAL SUBMISSION TO GOD THAT WE ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF OUR BELOVED HUSBAND, FATHER, GRANDFATHER, BROTHER, UNCLE, OLUYEMI LAWRENCE ADEYEMI(SUARA) WHO WENT TO BE WITH THE LORD ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2023.”

“WE ARE CONSOLED BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT HE HAS GONE TO REST. WE KINDLY REQUEST THAT THE FAMILY BE ALLOWED SOME PRIVACY IN THIS TIME OF GRIEF. MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE BURIAL WILL BE COMMUNICATED SOON.

Being a great iroko tree in the Nollywood movie industry means a lot especially as he contributed a lot and meant a lot to people.  His sudden death has touched a lot of souls. May his soul rest in peace.
