237 BEAUTY QUEENS MEMORIALIZE MBANKOLO VICTIMS

Adding to the list of network charity for the Mbankolo victims, Cameroon Beauty queens decided to also pay their own tribute to victims of the landslide that hit Mbankolo neighbourhood in Yaoundé, on October 8th 2023. Their gesture came a week after the landslide.

The three involved beauty queen included; Miss Cameroon 2023- Princess Issie, Miss World Cameroon 2023-Julia Samantha Edima, and the second runner up for Miss Cameroon 2023- Raissa Ngueleu. They went to condole with the victims and survivors.

On the scene of the incident, they laid bouquets of flowers and lit candles to honour the deceased victims. Later on, they shared food, water and other basic necessities to the victims’ families, as their own way of showing solidarity.
“We are here today to express our deepest condolences to the families who have lost loved ones in this tragedy. Our hearts go out to all those who have been affected by this disaster”, said Miss Cameroon 2023, Princess Issie.
The victims are still slowly recovering from the incident that left lots of tragedies in their lives.
