According to sources, Cameroonian footballer, Christopher Wooh did not train on Tuesday 16th January 2024. The Lions defender stayed at the hotel with Vincent Aboubakar during group training.

He did not take part in the post-match training session on Tuesday morning after sustaining a knee injury during the Guinean goal.

The Indomitable Lions defender stayed at the hotel with Vincent Aboubakar for a follow-up with the physiotherapist. It is not yet known whether the player  will take part in the clash with Senegal in the second game of Group C of the 2023 African Cup of Nations.

The day after their draw with Guinea, which marked their debut at the 34th finals phase of the AFCON 2023, the Indomitable Lions are back to work at the INPHB Sud in Yamoussoukro.

At the end of a closed-door training session lasting almost 70 minutes, in which 25 players took part, the activities were concentrated on recovery for the starters from the previous day and on exercises in workshops for the substitutes.

With the match against Guinea’s Syli National out of the way, Rigobert Song and his men turned their attention to the next stage of their campaign, the match against Senegal on 19th January at the Charles Konan Banny stadium.
