IDIA AISIEN : AN AESTHETIC PATRONESS

Idia Aisien is of a Nigerian and Cameroonian ancestry. She is a television presenter, model, and philanthropist. She has made a name for herself in the Nigerian entertainment industry through her work as a TV host, being a model, actress and her involvement in various philanthropic initiatives.

Idia Aisien began her career as a model and quickly gained recognition for her beauty and grace. She has walked the runway for numerous fashion shows and has been featured in various print and digital campaigns for notable brands.

In addition to her modelling career, Idia Aisien transitioned to television presenting. She has hosted several notable TV shows and events, showcasing her charisma and ability to engage with audiences. She has hosted programs such as “Style 101”, “You Got Issues”, “Mega Millions Lottery Draw on Silverbird” and many other shows.  She has also covered major events like the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) and the Lagos Fashion Week.

Idia has also had a career in acting an in 2020, she acted as a main character in the Nollywood classic movie “Nneka The Pretty Serpent”. Top movie critics and media gave rave reviews about her performance in the movie and not long after she was cast as lead actress in one of Nollywood’s recent movies “Bad Boys and Bridesmaids”, and even a recent series presently streaming on Africa Magic Channel “Slum King” alongside other renowned actors.  It seems she has many other projects in the Nollywood Industry and will more often be seen onscreen from now on.

Aisien’s passion for giving back to her community is evident in her philanthropic efforts. She has been involved in various initiatives focused on education, empowerment, and healthcare. Aisien is the founder of the International Development Initiative in Africa (IDIA), a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and mentorship programs to underprivileged students in Nigeria.

Beyond her professional achievements, Idia Aisien is known for her fashion sense and style. She has been recognized as a style icon and has been featured in numerous fashion publications, showcasing her elegant and sophisticated fashion choices.

Idia was born on July 4, 1991, in Lagos, Nigeria. As a teenager, she attended Atlantic Hall High School, in Lagos. She later on moved to the United States, where she attained a B.A. in Journalism from American University in Washington, D.C., and an M.S. in International Public Relations and Global Corporate Communications from New York University.

With her talent, beauty, and passion for making a difference, Idia Aisien continues to inspire and impact the Nigerian entertainment industry and beyond. She remains a respected figure and a role model for aspiring television presenters and young individuals looking to make a positive change in their communities.
