Jackie Appiah is an award-winning Ghanaian actress, movie producer, fashion model and humanitarian who has done lots and lots of good work in Ghana and Africa as a whole. She was born on December 5, 1983, in Toronto, Canada, to a Ghanaian mother and a Canadian father. Jackie spent her early years in Canada before moving to Ghana with her mother at the age of 10.

Her acting career began at a young age when she appeared in her first movie, “Divine Love”, at the age of 12. However, it was her breakthrough role in the movie “Mummy’s Daughter” by Venus Films that brought her recognition and established her as a talented actress in the Ghanaian film industry. Before venturing into movies, she featured in tv series like “Things We Do For Love”, “Tentacles”, “Games People Play”, “Sun-city” and many others.

Jackie’s talent and versatility soon caught the attention of filmmakers across Africa, leading to numerous roles in both Ghanaian and Nigerian movies. She quickly gained popularity for her exceptional acting skills, accent, charming personality, and natural beauty. Throughout her career, Jackie has starred in several successful films, including “The Perfect Picture”, “Princess Tyra”, “Beyoncé: The President’s Daughter”, “4 Play Reloaded” and many others in which she has acted in.
